Hertsmere Homes is the scheme through which Housing Association homes and homes in the Private Rented Sector (PRS) are advertised and allocated within the borough of Hertsmere.

You need to be registered with the Council before you can apply for properties; both existing tenants in Hertsmere and those seeking a home for the first time can apply.

Not everybody that applies will qualify to join the housing register, unfortunately very few social housing properties become available to rent each year, consequently demand outstrips supply and only families who have a high priority housing need are ever likely to secure accommodation.
